I pray that God will allow me to speak knowledgeably and to ponder well what God has taught me. God himself is the guide even of Wisdom, and God keeps those who already possess wisdom on the right course.
And God hath given to me to speak as I would, and to conceive thoughts worthy of those things that are given me: because he is the guide of wisdom, and the director of the wise:
I pray to God that my thoughts may be worthy of what I have learned, and that I may speak according to his will. He is Wisdom's guide; he gives correction to those who are wise.
Now God grant I speak suitably and value these endowments at their worth: For he is the guide of Wisdom and the director of the wise.
May God grant me the ability to speak according to understanding and to express thoughts worthy of the gifts I have received, since it is he that guides Wisdom and directs the wise.
May God grant me to speak with judgement, and to have thoughts worthy of what I have received; for he is the guide even of wisdom and the corrector of the wise.
